1.0 out of 5 stars poorly designed, October 31, 2008

I am busy and never take the time to review products, but I felt I wanted to tell people about the things that didn't work for us with this high chair so they can make a better decision than we did! (someone just gave us a Fischer Price high chair that is fabulous so I can see how inconvenient the Peg Perego was) The tray height is still too high for our daughter, she is 2. The tray slides in and out very stickily- I reccommend just getting the 2-hand trays that click on and off. There is a big gap between tray and daughter's belly- tons of food got on her lap every meal, and she would stand up on the chair b/c she wasn't held in by the tray and hated being strapped in. The tray is too big and thus doesn't fit into the dishwasher- no need to have it stick out so far- their arms aren't that long! When I think about it, I think the gap thing was the most inconvenient- we had dinner last night with her in the fischer price and it held her in so nicely, tray snug to her belly- how... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Prima Pappa Best?, June 9, 2008
By
Josie Duke (Princeville, HI) - See all my reviews
I bought this before there were any reviews available. I almost bought the afordable Chico but read a review about the tray being difficult to put on and off so I bailed and spent a lot more on the Italian made PPB. I have to say it is luxurious and sporty which is nice for zooming around the house (which we do a lot) but the tray is very sticky and requires strength to push in while holding a lever under the tray so the pegs line up. I have to hold the tray then grab the back of the seat and slowly but firmly push it in and hope it doesn't all the sudden slide easily and quickly. I already caught my 7 mo old's knee once and his fingers get in the way often so it's just a matter of time. The tray height is high but I have a baby in the 100th % so he's okay and will definitely grow into it. I like the removable tray that fits snuggly over the tray itself. Easy cleaning all around. Seems very durable so I will be able to use it for baby #2 if need be.

1.0 out of 5 stars A Dirty Chair, February 4, 2011

This review is from: Peg-Perego Prima Pappa Best High Chair, Paloma (Baby Product)
We originally purchased a Peg-Perego chair for our first grandchild. Yes, the chair holds the child. Yes, it rolls around. But from a cleaning perspective it is a total failure. There are too many crevices, cracks, corners, folds, etc. to be able to clean the chair. It will accumulate food and stuff that you will not be able to routinely clean. If you want your child to spend its first years sitting in bacteria from old food this is the chair to get, if not you would be better off looking for one that is more cleanable.

1.0 out of 5 stars DISSAPOINTED, December 22, 2008
This review is from: High Chair Cushions w/ Cording - Color Red Gingham (Baby Product)
I was very dissappointed in the High Chair pad. It looked like it was a lot nicer in the picture. For the price I feel it is a rip off. There is very little padding, the stiching is not even and overall it is a poor product for the price. I did not return it because of the hassle. Marilynn Poe

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Money!, April 15, 2010
By
This review is from: High Chair Cushions w/ Cording - Color Red Gingham (Baby Product)
I purchased this cushion in yellow gingham, and was soooo disappointed!!! For the money this cushion cost the quality is very poor...it looks SO cheap. The padding is incredibly thin- you might as well not even have a cushion! The fabric is very thin as well, and they didn't even cover the back of the cushion with the gingham fabric...they slapped a piece of white fabric on the backninstead, probably trying to save a buck but it just makes the cushion look more cheap.
I contacted the company to return the cushion, and it's quite a hassel to return it. I've sent it back for my full refund, but am being charged a 5% "restocking fee", for the apparent huge chore of restocking a fricking cushion. Just another way to scam a few more bucks, I guess.

I would NEVER recommend this cushion and would NEVER recommend buying from [..]....I'll never buy from them again!
